The datAshur PRO² USB 3.2 Gen 1 flash drive is a PIN-authenticated, AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encrypted flash drive that securely encrypts, stores and protects data to military standards.

Your data stored on the datAshur PRO² is encrypted using FIPS PUB 197 validated, AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption. All components incorporated within the datAshur PRO2 are completely covered by a layer of super tough epoxy resin, which is virtually impossible to remove without causing permanent damage to the components. The drive is also designed to be tamper evident making it obvious if it has been pried open and tampered with.
The datAshur PRO² is the world’s only USB flash drive to incorporate a secure microprocessor that is Common Criteria EAL5+ certified, which enhances security through true random number generation and built-in cryptography. The data encryption key is protected by FIPS and Common Criteria validated wrapping algorithms.
The microprocessor offers ultimate security against hackers, detecting and responding to tampering with features such as:

Independent User & Admin PINs make it perfect for corporate and government deployment. If the User forgets their PIN, the drive can be unlocked using the Admin PIN. The Administrator can then allow the User to set a new User PIN.
The DatAshur Pro² has brute force hack defence mechanisms. If the User PIN is entered incorrectly 10 consecutive times, the User PIN will be deleted and the drive can only be accessed by entering the Admin PIN or One-time User recovery PIN. (Admin can change this from the default 10 incorrect PIN entries, to 1-9, for the User only). If the Admin PIN is entered incorrectly 10 consecutive times, all data, PINs and the encrypted encryption key will be lost forever.
simplicity meets ruggedness
Simply enter a 7-15 digit PIN to authenticate and use as a normal portable SSD. When the drive is disconnected, all data is encrypted using AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption (no software required).
The onboard keypad is covered with a layer of polymer coating that protects the keys and hides key usage to avoid tipping off a potential hacker to commonly used keys.
The DatAshur Pro² has IP68 accreditation meaning it will survive being submerged under 1.5m of water for 30 minutes and deemed fit enough to withstand dust, dirt and sand.Â

easy use and configuration
An admin configurable one-time User recovery PIN enables you to unlock the device and set a new User PIN in the event that you forgot the PIN.
The DatAshur Pro² has Read only mode (write protect). Both the Admin and User can configure the DatAshur Pro² as a read only (write protect) drive. If configured by the Admin, the drive cannot be modified or disabled by the User, allowing the Admin to pre-provision a drive with pre-loaded content as read-only for the User.
The DatAshur Pro² is Operating System & Host independent, making it plug and play. No software required; the drive will work on any device with a USB port.

Inactivity Auto-lock
Configurable to lock after a predetermined period of inactivity. datAshur PRO2Â also automatically locks when unplugged from the host device or when power to the USB port is turned off.
Configure as Removeable Media or Fixed Disk
Depending on the OS environment and application scenario the datAshur PRO2 can be configured as either Removeable Media or Fixed Disk to meet the User’s needs.
Read only (write protect) – Dual Mode
Both Admin and User can configure the datAshur PRO2Â as a read only (write protect) device. If configured by the Admin, the device cannot be modified or disabled by the User allowing the Admin to pre-provision a device with pre-loaded content as read-only for the User.
User PIN enrolment
Admin can set a restriction policy for the User PIN. This includes setting the minimum length of the PIN, as well as requiring the input of one or more ‘Special Character’ if needed.

Lock override mode
Ideal in certain cases where the datAshur PRO2Â needs to remain unlocked through USB port re-enumeration, such as during a reboot process or passing the device through a virtual machine.
One-time User recovery PIN
Admin configurable, extremely useful in situations where a User has forgotten their PIN, allowing the User to unlock the device and set a new User PIN.
Polymer coated, wear resistant on-board alphanumeric keypad
The datAshur PRO2Â is authenticated (unlocked) and all functions are performed using the onboard keypad and with zero host involvement, the device is not vulnerable to key-loggers and/or brute force attacks.
The datAshur PRO2Â keypad is coated with a layer of wear resistant polymer for added protection.

Self-destruct feature
Pre-program the datAshur PRO2Â with a self-destruct PIN, once entered, the encrypted encryption key and all PINs are deleted, and all data is rendered as lost forever.
Whitelisting on networks
Configured with a unique VID/PID and internal/external serial number with barcode, allowing easy integration into standard end-point management software (white-listing), to meet internal corporate requirements.
Immune to Bad USB
Both the USB Cryptochip and Secure Microprocessor incorporate digitally-signed flash lock mechanisms making the datAshur PRO2Â immune to Bad USB.
Brute force hack defence mechanism
If the User PIN is entered incorrectly 10 consecutive times, the User PIN will be deleted, and the drive can only be accessed by entering the Admin PIN in order to reset the User PIN. (Admin can change this from the default 10 incorrect PIN entries, to 1-9, for the User only)
If the Admin PIN is entered incorrectly 10 consecutive times, all PINs and the encrypted encryption key will be lost forever.
Device reset feature
Deletes the encrypted encryption key, all PINs and renders all data as lost forever. The device can then be redeployed which randomly generates a new encrypted encryption key, a process that can be repeated as many times as required.
Customisation services available
Offering an in-house PIN configuration and laser-etching service whereby the datAshur PRO2Â sleeve or side of the device can be customised with your name, company name and/or logo, web/email address, phone number.
